Bharat Recharge Portal gives utmost importance to the security of your data and your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and share your data. By using our app, you agree to this policy and the terms below.

1. Data Collection

  • Name, Mobile Number, Email Address – for registration and login purposes.
  • Bank Account Number and UPI ID – for payment verification and cashback/offer credit directly to your bank account.
  • Contact List Access – to help you find and recharge your contacts easily within the app.
  • Photo/File Upload Access – for uploading profile pictures or necessary documents.
  • Location Data – for operator and circle auto-detection.
  • Microphone Access – only when you use voice support or live chat.
  • App Usage Data – via Google Analytics or similar tools to improve the app.

2. Use of Data

  • To provide recharge, bill payment, and other services.
  • To secure and verify your account.
  • To transfer cashback and offers via your bank account/UPI.
  • To inform you about offers, promotions, and updates.
  • To enhance your experience (e.g., operator auto-detection).

3. Data Sharing

  • We do not sell your personal data to any third party.
  • Data may only be shared when legally required (e.g., court order).
  • Payment-necessary information may be shared with your bank/UPI/payment gateway.

4. Wallet Balance & Refund Policy

  • Money added to the wallet via barcode, UPI, bank transfer, or any other method will not be refunded under any circumstances.
  • Wallet balance can only be used for Bharat Recharge Portal services (such as mobile recharge, DTH, bill payment, etc.).
  • Once added, wallet funds cannot be transferred back to a bank account, UPI ID, or elsewhere.

5. Recharge & Bill Payment Refund Policy

  • If any mobile/DTH/electricity/water or utility bill payment/recharge is marked as Successful by the operator or service provider, that transaction is non-refundable.
  • Refunds for failed transactions depend purely on the operator’s refund policy; Bharat Recharge Portal does not guarantee or take responsibility.

6. Cashback, Scratch Card & Referral Policy

  • Cashback, scratch cards, or referral rewards offered on successful recharge or bill payment are purely promotional.
  • Bharat Recharge Portal reserves the right to increase, decrease, or discontinue these rewards at any time based on business conditions (profit/loss, costs, or market situation).
  • Users will have no legal claim to these rewards, and the availability of cashback/scratch cards/referrals will solely depend on the company’s decision.
  • Any updates will be notified through the app or website.

7. APK Download & App Updates

We may provide the option to download and install APKs from within the app. This may require the Install Unknown Apps permission, which you control in your device settings.

8. Data Security

Your data is stored on secure servers and protected with SSL encryption.

9. Account & Data Deletion

You can delete your account at any time via Profile → Settings → Delete Account. After deletion, your personal data will be permanently removed from our servers (except where legal retention is required).

10. Children’s Privacy

We do not collect data from children under the age of 13.

11. Jurisdiction

Any disputes related to this app will be governed by Indian laws (IT Act 2000 and applicable regulations).
